  2. Mar 23,  · "Killer" is Alice Cooper and his band's artistic peak. There were many promises made with "Love it to Death", the group's previous lp. It included the great "Eighteen" and the delightfully bizarre "Ballad of Dwight Frye". But glam rock, whatever you want to call it, became, it does not get much better than side one of "Killer".4/5().

  3. Alice is not that much more a self-invention and technician of forms and poses than Bob Dylan has always been. And if you think that's a far-out comparison, just listen to "Be My Lover" or "Desperado" on this album. Killer (Warner Bros. ) is without a doubt the best Alice Cooper album yet and one of the finest rock & roll records released.

  7. The Alice Cooper Bands crowning achievement-better than 'Love It To Death' or even 'Schools Out' IMHO. The album is heavy, catchy, dark, and even orchestral in some spots. A hard ROCK orchestra that is.'Halo Of Flies', 'Dead Babies', and 'Killer' are worth the price of admission alone/5().
